The Rinker Classroom is currently a square-shaped classroom in the University of Miami School of Architecture. I changed it into a live/work apartment, where an artist can live and display their work. When you walk in, it is like a whole new space as there is a vegetated courtyard at the entrance that is open to the sky.
On the first floor, there is the artist’s studio with enough space for the artist to work everyday and create art, as well as allocated space for them to showcase their art for shows right from their own home. When you go upstairs, there is the apartment that has one bedroom, one bathroom, an office, a full kitchen, and living space, which has a large series of windows that overlook the vegetated entrance courtyard.
